1. WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
This may depend on the size of your order
and the current workload. However most jobs are completed within
5 working days. Please let us know if you have a rush job requiring
urgent attention - we may be able to fit it in. If you need an order delivered for a particular deadline please check before placing an order.
2. HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?
Please use our autoquote system
- once you have selected all possible options in the quoter you
will see a "process this order" option appear at the
bottom right. Otherwise you can email us for a quote and we can
organise the payment with you by phone / BACS or cheque but you won't get the 5% online discount that way. We only operate on a pre-payment basis with the exception of schools, councils and other public bodies where we can invoice. Pre-paid orders are always given priority over invoiced orders.
3. HOW DO I GET A QUOTE?
Please use our autoquote system or email
us
4. HOW DO I SEND THE ARTWORK TO YOU?
Please email it to us. You will find our contact
details here . We can accept large email files. If it is too
large for your server to send we recommend using WeTransfer or we can provide FTP details to you.
Please be sure to use our ARTWORK TEMPLATES
and read the instruction document.

Master disc formats
We create all your production CDs or DVDs from your master
as exact copies. So you need to make sure that the master is thoroughly
checked and is in the exact form you wish the copies to be. For
instance if you want the result to be audio CDRs then you need
to supply an audio CDR master, rather than a bunch of MP3 files on a data
CD. We accept CDR, DVD-R or DVD+R master discs.
We don't normally accept audio files or data files sent via
the internet as problems can occur in transmission. If that is
the only way then an extra charge of £20+VAT will be incurred
for us to download, check and create a master. We don't offer a guarantee on the copies if done this way.
PLEASE double check your master disc for fingerprints, dust, scratches
etc and put in a hard case so it does not break in transit. Please
be sure to keep a backup copy or send us a copy and keep
your original.
Copyright
We are not able to process masters that do not contain all your own work without the appropriate licenses. For cover versions performed by your own band we need a mechanical license. For compilations containing original sound recordings you also need a PPL license. You can get both for short runs here
6. CAN YOU ADD TRACK NAMES TO MY CD SO THEY APPEAR IN ITUNES?
You can do this yourself from within iTunes or other music players. This article tells you how to do it for iTunes. They don't read the data from the CD itself but use a database of track lengths called Gracenote.
7. CAN I GET A FREE SAMPLE?
You can get print proofs sent of your exact design for the paper parts and printed discs too. Please follow this link for more info: free sample prints.
8. ARTWORK
HELP
We have an instruction document which may help:
download now but cannot offer further
help by phone or email as it is too time consuming. Our affiliated graphic
designs will be able to offer a quote to help complete the
artwork.
Please refer to this section
if you require assistance with artwork and layout.
9. BARCODES
If you require a barcode in your CD please leave a 3
by 2cm gap on the rear artwork. Barcodes can only be used on our
standard CD package (not the slimline option). This file is a
3 by 2cm white rectangle which you should use - download
now (right click and save, otherwise you will only see a white
screen!)
10. HOW DOES THE "PACK IT YOURSELF" DEAL WORK?
We supply all the component parts, including cases, booklets, backliners and the discs for you to assemble. The booklets are cut and creased and the backliner spines perforated for you. Everything is ready to be put together very quickly. The CD case trays are also supplied separately to make the assembly as quick and easy as possible. It should take two people less than 1 hour to assemble 100 units. You get an extra 15% discount on the list prices for self-assembly and it means it can be sent out more quickly to you too. We include spare cases to allow for breakages, booklets, discs and backliners - depending on the order size - but normally about 2 to 5% extra of everything.
11. ADVICE FOR BURNING CDR AND DVDR MEDIA
If you are ordering CDR or DVDR as blank discs to burn yourself - please follow the advice below:
1) Ensure your CD/DVD Drive has the latest firmware
2) Make sure you order a sample discs from us to make sure you have no compatibility problems. Our customers very rarely have problems but DVD+R discs on MAC machines have caused problems. We now only supply DVD-R discs.
3) Burn CDR at a maximum speed of 16x even if your drive offers higher speeds
4) Burn DVD-R discs at a maximum speed of 4x even if your drive offers higher speeds
By following this advice you should have very few, if any, failed burns. If you find you are getting lots of problems - contact us for advice.
