1. What credit cards do you take?
We take all major credit and debit cards including AMEX.
The full list is Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Visa Debit,
Visa Electron, Solo, and Maestro (Switch).
2. Are my credit card details safe? Do
you see my card details?
We use the highest grade encryption to protect ALL your
details including your credit card details and customer details.
We take security and privacy very seriously. Your credit card
details are not stored on our server - in fact we NEVER see them.
They are passed immediately to the bank for processing and we
only store the last 4 digits for your convenience. Repeat payments
may be made with your card because we store a unique reference
number relating to your previous transaction which allows the
bank to process your card again. This number is completely useless
to anyone except Shopsonic.
Our server is protected with multiple firewalls - including the
latest deep packet inspection firewall from NetScreen.
3. Can I send a cheque (check)?
Yes. Please make all cheques payable to 'FARFIELD'. Please
be aware that orders by cheque take significantly longer to process
as we must wait for cheques to clear.
4. How quickly will I receive my order?
We are able to process most orders within 24 to 48 hours and send
by next day courier once completed. We can give you an estimated
completion date if you call.
5. How are you able to offer such good prices?
We own all our own printing and duplicating equipment for the
use of our record
label and music licensing
company. We have spare printing capacity so are able to offer
the same quality of printing to other musicians and companies.
The income we receive helps to offset our own capital costs. You
can be sure that the print and duplication quality will be of
the highest standard because we only use the highest quality printing
for our own CDs and wouldn't expect anyone else to settle for
less. We give priority to your printing jobs and do our own work
in offpeak times.
6 . What will appear on my credit card statement?
Your card will be billed as 'www.ambientmusic.co.uk'
which is our parent company website.
7. Are my personal details secure? What is your privacy
policy?
Yes. We only use your details in order to complete and
confirm the order. We NEVER pass on your details to any other
companies. We also only ever process your details via a secure
SSL encrypted channel, meaning that your customer details are
never sent over the web by email (your order confirmation does
not mention your name and address). We feel this is the most secure
way possible.
8. How long have you been trading?
FARFIELD Records was set up in 1998.
